We are Michelle Coles and Rhys Owens. We recently moved into the pub with our girls, Millie and Merryl, Jarvis the Cocker, and Stevie and Wonder the cats.
Michelle is Adderbury born and bred and Rhys (Welsh and proud of it!) has been a villager for 9 years already. We’ve both been thinking about a change of lifestyle for some time and running this pub fulfils a long-term goal. We love Adderbury, were both brought up with village life and have been regulars at The Bell for ages, so we know what we are letting ourselves in for! We are people people, we know the community and our predecessors gave us a great handover.
The Bell is a great asset to the Adderbury community – and we intend to keep it that way. No need for instant changes – keep the beer perfect and add a few culinary delights, such as Tuesday Curry Club, Pizza Friday and Stuffed Yorkshire puddings on a Sunday.
We are also massive sports fans and have indulged in subscribing to both Sky and TNT for the Bell, which means that most sports will be shown in the music room on a regular basis.
We are both avid music enthusiasts and will be ensuring the pub has several musical events throughout the year. Follow our facebook page and the website for upcoming engagements.
